What are they?
Corns are thick, raised, hardened skin which a nuclei that cause pain. There are different types of corns:
- Hard Corns (Heloma Durum) – are the most common. They are small, pale or yellow areas of raised, hardened skin. Hard corns on feet are usually on top edge of the toes, on the joints of the toes and the sole of the feet.
- Soft corns (Heloma Molle ) –softened by moisture, usually from sweat or from not drying your feet properly. They often develop inbetween the toes.
- Seed corns (Heloma Millare) – these are small seed like corns that occur on the plantar surface of the feet.
What are the causes?
